How OSNDRC Points are Determined.....
Sweepstakes
Each rabbit you show receives sweepstakes points unless they are disqualified or placed below
5th place.

1st place: 6 times the number of rabbits in the class
2nd place: 4 times the number of rabbits in the class
3rd place: 3 times the number of rabbits in the class
4th place: 2 times the number of rabbits in the class
5th place: 1 times the number of rabbits in the class

BOB: 2 times the number of rabbits in the breed
BOS: 1 times the number of rabbits in the breed

For the spring and fall OSNDRC specialty shows, the points for the classes are doubled, but not
the BOB and BOS points. BOB and BOS are calculated as usual then added to the doubled class
points
Quality Points
There must be 5 rabbits and 3 exhibitors or more to receive Quality Points.
BOB: 2 points for overall quality
BOS: 1 point for overall quality
BOG: 2 points for group quality
BOSG, 1 point for group quality

These rules apply only to the OSNDRC, not to any other club or affiliation.
The timetable for determining points
You may be wondering why it seems to take a while for your points to show up on the site,
here's why.

After the show, the show secretary must make out his/her show reports for each exhibitor,
each specialty club, and ARBA. ARBA has a rule that their report and exhibitors reports must be
received within 30 day. There is no ARBA rule concerning a deadline for reports to the specialty
clubs. Some show secretaries are very prompt, some are very negligent, we have no control
over this.

After Amie Dick receives the show report, she must tabulate each rabbits points, and each
exhibitors points, then add them to the previous ones and rearrange any changes in standings.
She then sends the results by email to the webmaster. The results are normally posted on the
site within 2 days of being received.

If there are any mistakes or delays by the show secretaries, it holds up the entire process. If
there is a mistake, the entire process has to be repeated. If there is a delay receiving the show
report, Amie normally contacts the show secretary for info on the delay. Some show
secretaries will respond, some won't, again, this is something we have no control over. If there
is a particular show that you attended and you see that it is not listed in the "Shows Received"
section after a reasonable amount of time, you may want to contact Amie to see if she received
a report from that show. If not, you may want to contact the show secretary, politely, to find out
what the problem is.
